Windermere is a compact town, easily accessible to all and offers a range a welcoming pubs, cafes and shops. The Cottage has been newly refurbished and furnished to provide modern comfort but with a nod to the traditional era in which the cottage was built. Upstairs, the cottage provides 2 comfortable bedrooms, a twin room and large double with king size bed and walk in wardrobe. Both rooms offer top of the range bedding, pillows and mattresses to ensure guests enjoy comfortable night sleep during their stay.
Yes, there is allocated parking for 1 car next to the Shepherds Hut. If you are bringing more than one car, the second should be parked in the car park next to reception. Any commercial vehicles must be parked in the car park. Prices are based on weekly bookings with an arrival day of Friday. We can offer a Monday arrival too, pleasecheck availability and prices.

We arrived following a red-eye flight, and found that she had already procured items for our breakfast...A very nice touch. The owner stayed in contact with us during our stay to make sure everything met our needs. The home is equipped with a full kitchen, washer and dryer, wireless Internet access , television, and very comfortable beds. There was no night noise issue, and we never felt unsafe in the neighborhood. There is, however, a fast train to north central London which allowed us to quickly access all the sights . The train station is about a mile away and can readily be accessed by walking or by buses from stops about 1/4 mile away.
